How it Works

SpamDefy is an advanced e-mail scanner than can identify and remove spam and harmful viruses before they get to your inbox.

SpamDefy downloads your e-mail from your ISP's server and removes any unwanted messages. You then download your filtered e-mail from the SpamDefy server to your e-mail software.

By removing spam before you download your e-mail, you will only ever be downloading messages you want. This will reduce the amount of data you download, saving you time and bandwidth.

SpamDefy is highly configurable, allowing you to decide how your e-mail is handled by the system. You can create a whitelist of allowed senders and only allow mail from them to pass through the filter. Alternatively, the system can be set up to allow all mail to pass through, while you train the spam filter to recognise spam you receive.

SpamDefy learns from your actions. By logging on to the admininstration site you can reclassify e-mail that you have received, teaching the system which messages to filter out and which to allow through.

While logged in you can also view any discarded messages. SpamDefy automatically moves any mail it suspects may be spam into a discard queue. You can view any queued messages and allow any number of them to be delivered.
